Annual Mission Day – Saturday, 24 October 2020

‘Let light shine out of darkness’ – opportunities in the pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has changed all our lives. Church life and mission work have become more complicated and, in many ways, more limited. Yet God has not given up his plan to gather a people from every nation, tribe, people and language. Nor has he taken back his command for us to pray and preach the Word, calling all people everywhere to repent and come to Christ. In fact he is the God who says, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’ – so however dark and troubled the world may be, the light of the gospel can still penetrate the hearts and minds of men, women and children.

This year’s Annual Mission Day will be different in form, but our aim is still to inform, inspire and encourage you. Join us live online to see and hear how GBM missionaries have been seizing opportunities in the pandemic, and shining the light of Christ into the hearts of people around the world.

AMD 2020 – Saturday, 24 October

‘For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.’   (2 Corinthians 4:6)
