Sarah Clay works with the Rainbow Association high in the Andes Mountains of Central
Peru. Sarah focusses her work on the street children who earn a living shining shoes,
vulnerable boys living on the margins of life, often from chaotic families with all
kinds of problems.
In December last year she recorded an extended interview in our radio studios in
Abingdon, talking frankly about her work and the pressures it brings. She describes
her own sense of calling, and outlines the four different aspects of the Rainbow
Association’s work. She describes vividly the daily lives of the boys, and the change
that the gospel brings to entire families through the Rainbow Association’s work.
Sarah is a Latin Link missionary serving in fellowship with GBM, and speaks warmly
of her sending church, Prettygate Baptist Church, Colchester and their regular care
Download Sarah’s interview to your phone or MP3 player. We have also made a DVD version
using stills photos of Sarah’s work, and this is available free of charge to churches
that want to pray for Sarah’s work. Contact GBM Mission centre to order a copy.
