A contact in Haiti working at one of the radio stations we supply our programmes to gives an account of his experience of the earthquake that struck there in January 2010.
This booklet arises out of our French language programme Espérance Aujourd’hui. It gives an understanding of the particular issues that people face in the African context. It then shows how the church in Africa is seeking to respond to and address these issues. Thirdly, it shows how your prayers and support for our ministry contributes practically to the outworking of the gospel on the ground in Africa.
Helen Cook retired from the GBM radio team in May 2010. To mark her 26 years of service, an interview was published in the Radio News supplement.
A booklet marking 50 years of GBM’s radio has been written and compiled by former GBM worker, Philip Grist.
The book tells the Radio story over the past 50 years from the rather primitive days in India and all the problems that we faced in those days, to the more sophisticated days of the 21st century. We’ve gone right through the whole of the story covering every era of the radio ministry to the present time.
