Week of Prayer 2024 – ‘I will build my church’
This year’s Week of Prayer takes place from Sunday 9 – Sunday 16 June.
Supporting or serving in mission is an immense privilege—yet mission is often hard and slow.
But the Lord Jesus has given us his precious and very great promises which encourage us to press on. Above all, he gives us this great assurance: ‘I will build my church’ (Matthew 16:18).
We know that he will not fail. His church will be established and will grow as people across the world trust in him and follow him.
Please join us during our 2024 Week of Prayer—Sunday 9 June to Sunday 16 June—as we devote extra time to pray for these great things. Let’s praise God for the certainty of Christ’s promise—‘I will build my church.’ Let’s pray earnestly that he will continue fulfilling it through our churches and missionaries. And let’s be emboldened to share the gospel far and wide.
Our focus through much of the Week of Prayer will be upon church planting missionaries. We will also hear from new missionaries whose ministries are geared towards equipping churches to stand firm and grow.
