Appointment of CEO for Grace Baptist Mission

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Adrian Brixey as the Chief Executive Officer of Grace Baptist Mission CIO. Adrian and his wife Antonia are members of Trinity Baptist Church in Gloucester, where Adrian served as an elder until the end of 2024.

Adrian brings a wealth of mission experience, including service in Thailand for eleven years and UK-based ministry among refugees. In the latter years of his time in Asia, Adrian was involved in missionary mobilization, recruiting and processing new workers in locations around South East Asia. He is a teacher by profession and has worked in primary education as a head teacher, and taught English as an additional language.

In 2017 Adrian completed a master’s degree in Contemporary Missiology, focusing on cultural aspects of Europe with a dissertation on the role of fatherhood within a Muslim community. He comes to GBM with a great desire to be used by the Lord to encourage others into mission, and to support local churches as they engage in God’s mission to the world.

God willing, Adrian is due to take up his position at the Mission during February this year, shadowing and working alongside our Mission Director Daryl Jones for a number of months until Daryl retires from GBM.
